Signs Your System Is Overdue for a Tune-Up

Systems rarely fail without warning. These are the warnings.

  • Power bills creeping up with no change in habits
  • Airflow that feels weaker or uneven
  • More than a year since a professional service
  • A drain line that has clogged or backed up before
  • You need documented maintenance to keep your warranty valid
How It Works

How the Plan Works

Join the Comfort Plan

Tell us you'd like on the plan. It is $99 per visit per system, two visits a year.

We tune it up

We run the full 34-point inspection on the air handler and condenser, pre- and post-season.

We flag what we find

If we spot something starting to fail, you hear about it early, with honest options.

An Ounce of Prevention

Most emergency breakdowns are preventable.

A dirty coil, a weak capacitor, a clogging drain line, low refrigerant, these give warning signs long before they leave you sweating at midnight. Our 34-point tune-up catches them while they're cheap to fix, keeps your system running efficiently through the brutal Southwest Florida summer, and protects the manufacturer warranty on your equipment.

Maintenance Timing in Southwest Florida

Our cooling season isn't a season, it's most of the year, so the plan is timed around the stretch that punishes equipment hardest: one visit before the heat arrives, one after it finally lets up. If something is already failing today, skip the tune-up and start with an AC repair visit instead, then let the plan keep it from happening again.

“Always answer the phone and been upfront and honest about every repair.”

Good Questions

AC Maintenance · Answered

What does the $99 maintenance plan include?+
Our Annual Comfort Plan is $99 per visit with 2 visits per year, each a full 34-point inspection of your indoor air handler and outdoor condenser, timed pre-season and post-season. The price is per system, so a home running two systems is two visits. The plan covers mini splits and package units as well as standard split systems.
What is actually in the 34 points?+
Seventeen items cover the indoor air handler and ductwork: evaporator coil fins and condition, the coil surface cleaned when it is accessible and not impacted, the drain pan inspected, the drain line blown out or vacuumed, algaecide tablets added to the pan, the overflow safety switches tested, the blower motor capacitor and amperage draw checked, the blower wheel condition and balance verified, the filter cleaned or replaced, the thermostat tested, and the ductwork and plenums looked over for leaks, separations and microbial growth. Seventeen more cover the outdoor condenser: coil condition, the unit cleaned, both the run and start capacitors tested, compressor and fan motor amperage draw, the electrical disconnect and voltage, every connection tightened, refrigerant pressures read against factory spec, the line set and line set cover, suction and liquid line temperatures, and the contactor relay. On both units we verify breaker, fuse and wiring sizes against NEC code.
Why does maintenance matter in Florida?+
Our systems run nearly year-round. Regular tune-ups keep efficiency up, power bills down, and catch small issues before they become expensive summer breakdowns.
Does maintenance protect my warranty?+
Yes, most manufacturers require regular professional maintenance to keep equipment warranties valid. Our plan keeps you covered and documented.
When should I schedule AC maintenance in Florida?+
Twice a year: once before the heavy cooling season ramps up, and once after it winds down. That's exactly how the Annual Comfort Plan is timed, pre-season and post-season, so problems get caught before and after the months that punish your system most.
What happens if you find a problem during a tune-up?+
You hear about it early, in plain language, with honest options and a clear price before any repair work begins. No scare tactics: if it can safely wait, we say so.
